Check the Processor load
What to do
Before the test
Check with the "Loadviewer" that the processor load is approximately 70%.
During the test
Check with the "Loadviewer" that the processor load is reasonable.
After the test
Check with the "Loadviewer" that the processor load is back to the same
level it was before the test.
Note
When doing measurements and performance tests use the traffic levels mentioned
in the test case be instead.
Information
When doing a test case it is a good idea to have some traffic going on to simulate a live system. How much the load shall be can be discussed forever, but we have decided to have the load on approximately 60 to 70%.
The traffic is generated with the Demo2000 application. Use the following
setting to reach the right load:
Ziatech processors, Pentium with 512 Mbyte memory (Nora)
